Vivid Sydney, the world’s largest festival of light, music and events has just taken place for its eighth year. The festival attracts over 1.7 million attendees annually and is managed by Destination New South Wales.
Havas PR Manchester assisted Destination NSW with the event’s strategic communications activity in the UK, before, during and after the festival.
The UK media has fallen in love with the fantastic light and art installations that covered the city’s hotspots, such as The Opera House and Taronga Zoo. Havas PR organised press trips for UK travel reporters from titles such as The Sunday Times, The Sun and The Metro, who took the trip half way around the globe to Sydney to witness the magnificent showcase.
